Best Parts of 2011.

After one very wordy lengthy post (containing links of other wordy posts)
Here  is one that is full of pictures.
Best bits of 2011.
2011 has a been a blissful year, so many ups and downs but most importantly
these will be the awesome memories that i will bring with me throughout the rest of life.
Let's get started.

1. The Best of 2011 is the moment when someone very close to me tied the knot.

My sister got married in a beautiful hilside bungalow in Cameron Highlands.
After months of planning, we are blessed that it turned out perfectly.

To see someone so close to me (she was practically sleeping next door for years!)
walking down the aisle was pure joy.
Mom and I had it in our hearts that we should not shed a tear on such a happy day.

 2. Attended my first friend's wedding.

A really close friend of mine got married. She was the first one amongst my friends to get married.
Congratulations!
I see so much similarities between my sister and Ainee, cause they both are so passionate in planning their own unique wedding.

3. By Far the BEST birthday celebration ever.

A macaron cake. #sortof.
It was crushed on the way back from Penang to Ipoh, but nevertheless still tastes awesome!

Be-Earlied "Surprise" Birthday bash @ Delicious.
I have blogged bout it already. *click*
Below is the after partyyyy.

Had our fair share of helium sucking to get chipmunk voices!

This is the after party of the actual day birthday dinner at the Citybayview Revolving Restaurant.

A bunch of people who were also celebrating birthdays came along to celebrate mine with me too!

A special birthday dedication video. I teared looking at everyone's effort to do this for me!
 Thankyou so so much!

4. First time travelling abroad without le parents

St.Paul's Ruin in Macao

Little girl offering Portugese tarts

A chance to stay in the Venetian Macao.

Din know i was afraid of height until i sat on these glass panels at Macao Tower.

Scariest Cable car ride ever. When i was in Hongkong i met typhoon and it was super windy.
Wind + cable car. No good. The cable car was practically swinging violently and they have to stop the service an hour later.

 Crazy windy.
The good news, it was cloudy the whole day.. and bad news, My face (and hair) became very oily.
Close to fried chicken oily.

 Ocean Park.

 OHAI!  : 3

 Tons of super steep escalators

Witnessed a total of 5 fireworks this year.
And this happen to be
The best fireworks display in 2011 (for me)

 5. Ohana means family.

Last but not least, I'm thankful to have all my family members with me throughout the entire year.
Supporting me, and give me strength during my weakest moment.
With them never once an activity that was dull.
And all my awesome awesome friends that have been so awesome.
(Awesome friends is awesome)
Together let's get the party started and ROLL IN 2012 Please!

FML Moments 2011

The truth is I'm a very phail person. Yes fail as in Gagal , Sat bai (canto)
Like I always said, I find myself in awkward positions all the time.
I'm not trying to be funny nor am i really funny
just that you're amused by my phail-ness.
(i'm amused by myself too wtf)
Hahahhaa.
Everytime when i try to convince myself i'm witty and intelligent *patsback*
Something has to come and ruin my moment.
Recap of some of my phail moments in 2011.

1. Door problem
You can read the previous one. *here*

A door bell was installed in the hostel more than 2 months ago,
they did it because they wanted a warning system to tell people in the hostel that there are workers coming into the hostel so please be decently dress (dun walk around clad in towels)
On the other hand i have a friend, who told me that they will lock the hostel doors at midnight so the bell is to notify people in the hostel to open the door for us.
The other day after supper, i walked back into the hostel and found that the door was locked,
Pressed the doorbell countless times and i know my roomie will be asleep so i did not call her.
I rang the bell until someone peeped out from her room look at the door and
"boom" slammed back again.
At that point, you know that i was having all these rage faces.
I was stuck outside until a good samaritan came to open the door for me.
The first thing she said was,
"Why din you open the door?"
"I was not locked!"

You gotta read my epic story of the craziest bus ride ever.

Speaking of bus,
I was once trying to catch and bus but i was running real late,
The day where i have an industrial visit so i thought exchanging those glasses with a pair of contacts.
I opened my lens case and to my horror one side of my contacts dried (and died) because there was a spill earlier. Le sigh.
Scrambled for an extra pair and found that one side of the NEW pair is broken.
So i ended up wearing one new and one old contacts together.

3. Hey Look!

While i was having a conversation with B, I suddenly spotted a range of toiletries that i used,
The toiletries were at the bottom shelves and i conveniently pointed my leg at that direction.
As soon as i say " HEY LOOK!"

My shoes flung out of my foot.

4. Birthday

This one happened today.
Bought ipod shuffle and give it as a surprise birthday girl for a friend.
When everyone gathered around, i held the ipod at the back so that she wont see it.
3 seconds later. the card and the ribbon fell off onto the ground.
=.='
phail.

That's all for now. Gotta go sleep. Im going insane studying =(

Not a meat eater.

I consider myself partly herbivor
because i prefer leafy greens and other stuff like toufu, potatoes and mushrooms
rather than meat.
Once attended a talk on the benefits of being a vegetarian..
and at that talk they put posters stating the benefits of being a vegetarian..
( which covers from scientific proof stated that the structure of our intestines and teeth proves that we have similarities with herbivor animals rather than tigers (meat eaters) therefore they believed we are made vegetarians.)
But then again, i love having seafood.
You can take away meat from my diet but certainly not seafood.

I developed a habit (thanks to my mom) to be vegetarian for a day on every 1st and 15th of the month according to the Chinese lunar calendar.
I believe it's good for the soul and also a part of detox.

#1 Was otw to have Laksa in Air Itam (cause i forgotten to check my calendar!) and i saw massive queue up to the Guan Yin temple. Then quickly redirected to this place.

#2 Fruit tea. Highly recommended.

#3 They put 3 packets of tea bags, slices of kiwi, pear, apple, lemon and orange and honey.

#4 Rendang Chicken. Tastes exactly like the real one!

#5 Butter prawns.

#5 Siu pak choi.

The restaurant is located at Jln Madras.
There actually have 2 floors, where the bottom floor serves fast food such as vegetarian spaghetti, lasagna, etc. and the 2nd floor is where i had my lunch.
