Video Nano

I've just got the news that Apple has launched the new IPOD NANO 5th Generation.

From the previous post

"If you really wanted keep up ,
You have to buy your Nano in September
then sell it in August the following year."

Cause there will be a new one every year.

or just wait till next year if you dun like this one.

Upgrades and Features:

1. Video Camera
5th Generation Nano has similar design with 4th Gen.
9 yummylicious colours.
The only thing different physically is that
it has a small VGA camera strategically located at the back of the device.

What for?
The new 5th Gen Nano comes with a video camera function =)

It comes with 15 real time special effects too.
Sepia, Black and White, X-Ray, Film Grain, Thermal, Security Cam, Cyborg, Bulge, Kaleido, Motion Blur, Mirror, Light Tunnel, Dent, Stretch, and Twirl
So now you can listen to music, watch videos and shoot your own videos =)

2. Larger Display.
From 2" (4G) to 2.2" (5G)
enhances your viewing pleasure.

FM radio + Live Pause.
Not like your typical radio,
it shows you what and who you’re listening to.
(not sure if it's applicable here in Malaysia though.)

4. Voice Over
VoiceOver speaks the names of songs and artists.
So you can navigate your music without looking at the screen.
What more?
You'll have 20 languages to choose from =)
  • Chinese (Cantonese)
  • Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Czech
  • Danish
  • Dutch
  • English
  • Finnish
  • French
  • German
  • Greek
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Norwegian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Spanish
  • Swedish
  • Turkish

5. Pedometer
It keeps track of your steps.
You can create a daily step goal
or set it to Always On so it counts all the steps you take,
all the time.

6. Voice Memos

an audio recording feature.
Nano comes with a built-in mic
unlike the previous version where you have to plug in your own mic.

8gb (equivalent to 2000songs / 8 hours of video) -

16gb (equivalent to 4000songs/ 16 hours of video) -
